- Caroline Lucas voted for John McDonnell´s EDM on Trade Union laws. Only 82 MPs bothered to turn up and vote.
- Andy to send message of thanks to Caroline Lucas for her support.
- Romayne Phoenix to be asked to request from GPEx that the Green Party affiliate to CoR if not already done so.
- Reported that launch of CACCTU pamphlet went well.
- Website discussion to roll over to next meeting.
- Joseph to contact Conferences Committee regarding encouraging TU stalls at Conference.
- Officers´ Reports: Treasurer: £144 in bank, no major outgoings.
- Students/ Young Greens update from Zain Sardar:
- Discussion of Brown Review: Universities such as London Met would go under. Effect on BAME. Cap means all fees woud rise to £:7,000.
- UK highest education fees in Europe.
- Caroline lucas has condemned Brown Review.
- UK state spending 0.8%, the EU average is 1%
- UCU have produced a fully-funded alternative.
- Will lead to paying for prestige, not quality of education.
- Anti-Cuts campaigns.
- Students have taken the lead.
- CoR Conference on 27th November:encourage registrations.
- Spring Conference.
- Look at Workers' Rights section of manifesto?
- Teresa to write to Unison Wales
- Teresa to book a formal session for the AGM.
