1. Possibility of a "Working Class representation" email group being discussed.
2. Hardship fund: further developments awaited/to be monitored.
3. Statement to TUs/TUC re joint industrial action still to be drafted

   3. Chair´ GPTU statement re redundancy issued and acknowledged, London Federation Motion on this subject passed 18/4/11
   4. Youth & Students´ Officer at NUS conference, report back awaited.
5. Local elections; GPTU sends its support to all GP candidates and workers in the forthcoming local elections.
6. TUC march (26/3) well attended GPTU and GL banners present, Stop the Cuts leaflet went well on stall. GPTU thanks all those involved in working to organise the march. Concerns expressed as to how to follow up the march and that its momentum should not be lost.
7. Conference
   1. Motions (NB deadlines Pre-Agenda deadline 12th May, First Agenda deadline 31st May, Final agenda deadline 15th July.)
   1. NHS Andy Hewett to liaise with Tim Dawes and other interested parties
   2. Delegate Conferences and equality. PM to draft
   3. Anti Cuts?
   4. Support for football safe-standing campaign; Andy Hewett to draft; debate as to whether suitable for GPTU support.
   5. Libya and Nukes mentioned but as developments are likely before conference these may be more suited to emergency motions.
   6. Green Left meeting to discuss conference motions: 6.30pm Friday 29th April Royal festival hall foyer, London (Green Left steering Committee meeting convened a sub-committee to discuss possible motions including promoting equality within GP, renationalizing the NHS and postponing delegate conferences)

   3. fringes to be booked, possibly an anti-cuts theme. noted that sue Tibbles is booking a media fringe independently.
8. Pensions: possibility of concerted action by teaching and lecturing unions.
