- Local elections; GPTU sends its support to all GP candidates and workers in the forthcoming local elections.
- TUC march (26/3) well attended GPTU and GL banners present, Stop the Cuts leaflet went well on stall. GPTU thanks all those involved in working to organise the march.
Concerns expressed as to how to follow up the march and that its momentum should not be lost.

- NHS Andy Hewett to liaise with Tim Dawes and other interested parties
- Delegate Conferences and equality. PM to draft
- Anti Cuts?
- Support for football safe-standing campaign; Andy Hewett to draft; debate as to whether suitable for GPTU support.
- Libya and Nukes mentioned but as developments are likely before conference these may be more suited to emergency motions.
- Green Left meeting to discuss conference motions: 6.30pm Friday 29th April Royal festival hall foyer, London (Green Left steering Committee meeting convened a sub-committee to discuss possible motions including promoting equality within GP, renationalizing the NHS and postponing delegate conferences)

- Pensions: possibility of concerted action by teaching and lecturing unions.
