    2. P.MacCafferty selected for council seat in Brighton.
    3. Peace camp had ben evicted from Parliament Sq. a few still camping on pavement.
    4. Disputes: BA settled
    5. Disputes: Threat of NHS disputes re renegotiation of redundancy conditions.
    6. Speakers from Colombian oil workers invited to Hugo Blanco day school.
  3. GP conference
    1. Motions,: more attention should be paid to prioratisation ballot in future.
    2. Emergency Motions, new prodecure and timetable published in SOC report in second agenda (now on GPEW members´s site).
    3. Emergency Motions being drafted: Anti cuts (Sean Thompson), Ian Tomlinson (Gayle O´Donovan)
    4. GPTU stall confirmed by Louisa Greenbaum Conferences Co-ordinator, ken Burgess has issued an appeal for stall volunteers (contact: ken.burgess@greenparty.org.uk.
    5. Materials for stalls to be moved to Birmingham via GPEW head Office if possible.
    6. Fringe: a Fringe on a practical ´grass roots´ response to cuts, speakers from CAN´T PAY WON´T PAY, J.Hicks(?), BASA
    7. Elections details of leadership & GPEX candidates on members´ site.
    8. CWU and PCS stalls invites discussed.
  4. Anti-cuts campaigns
    1. CAN´T PAY WON´T PAY: statement and plans for a conference on 27th NOV GPTU Secretary ´s action in signing CPWP statement endorsed. More signatures needed.
    2. More GP participation in broadbased non-sectraian anti-cuts movement needed.
    3. Million Jobs Commission: Updated CCC pamphlet and longer document expected.
    4. Right To Work rally at Tory conference 3rd Oct
  5. Tu role at GPEW Head Office: Most staff had joined GMB (Holborn Branch), draft recognition agreement to be presented to management committee.
  6. Website: draft from CP to be recirculated for comments.

    1. JH to stand down from GPRC.
    2. C.Lucas deputy of parliamnetary TU group.
    3. Irish Greens move to abolish TU contributions to political parties.
    4. Standards councils being abolished; public safety concerns.
